Desgraciadamente, las vaquitas, de tamaño similar, viven en la misma zona del golfo.
El equipo calcula que al día se extienden unos 700 kilómetros de redes legales durante la temporada de pesca (entre septiembre y junio), y eso sin contar las ilegales. Para los expertos, solo hay una solución para salvar a las vaquitas: prohibir todo tipo de pesca con red en la región.
