Which was not a scandal that affected Daniel Sickles? A) Murdering his wife's lover B) Losing his leg in the Civil War C) Taking a prostitute to England

Answers

Answer:

B) Losing his leg in the Civil War.

Explanation:

A scandal is a situation or circumstance where a person's conduct is offensive or improper. The reputation of that person is ruined and is a violation of a certain 'code of conduct'.

Daniel Sickles was an American soldier, politician, and diplomat. Even though he courageously fought during the 1861 American Civil War, he nevertheless has several scandals that rocked his personal life. Not only did he murder his wife's lover in broad daylight, but he also took a mistress to England. Getting his leg amputated is not a scandal. On the contrary, the misfortune earned him the Medal of Honor.

Thus, the correct answer is option B.

Calculation for what fraction of the class will be talking the removal examination in algebra

Using this formula

Fraction of the class= Students chosen to take removal examination/Students enrolled

Where,

Numerator=144

Denominator=576

Let plug in the formula

Fraction of the class=144/576

Fraction of the class=0.25

Now let convert 0.25 into fraction

Five is in hundredths place, which simply means that the decimal will be read as Twenty five hundredths and since we have four 25's in 100 then the fraction 0.25 will be 1/4

Hence,

I found an old photograph where I was drawing a picture. The person who took the photo was my dad, and I (the little artist) was drawing characters. Iv been drawing ever since i can remember. I loved it then i love art now. The photo was taken when i was eight years old and i asked my dad about that day because i couldn't remember what i was doing. He told me it was a project i had been working on for weeks, and that he practically had to drag me away to get me to take a break. To this day that is something that happens, if i have a project I do my best to finish it. This tells me that i can be determined as a person and that i can be creative.

(Hope this helps)

Answer:

The photograph I am reflecting on today is a photograph from May 2020. I was 16 years old at the time, and me and my dad were riding jet skies on the river by our house. It was two months into quarantine, and we just wanted to get out of the house. We were riding through a No Wake zone, where you have to go really slow so the waves do not damage docked boats, and my dad snapped a picture of me. I was smiling from ear to ear. It was a real, genuine smile. It's a little ironic because I looked so happy, but in reality, I was going through the toughest time of my mere 16 years of life. I was suicidal, extremely depressed, and barely able to get out of bed. This photograph teaches me that 1) it is extremely easy to fake a smile, and to NEVER judge a book by it's cover, and 2) that things DO get better with time.

In my life, I have gone on many memorable and outstanding trips, but it was the first time that I leave my country and travel to another continent. Before the journey started, we packed up our bags a week early in order to prepare for the trip and not missing anything. I was thrilled like a small child who was going to buy a new toy. When The day finally came, I was extremely nervous about the flight because I haven’t traveled on a plane for long distance. The flight prolonged and took about 6 hours in total to fly to our destination, Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.

First, we went to see the prominent places that many people visit. The most renowned landmark in Paris which is the Eiffel Tower. Before we went to the Eiffel Tower, we went on a bus with a tour guide that shows us the beautiful sightseeing in Paris. He was a well-informed person in a way that attracts people to listen to him about the country’s heritage which it was very interesting to me. Then, when we approach our destination, I was amazed by how spectacular and astounding of this architecture with all the details. After waiting for so long in the line, we got into the elevator in order to see the view from above. Once we got to the top of the tower, we saw the beautiful view of Paris, the city of lights, it was breathtaking and unforgettable.
