Lucky people have positive attitudes. The lucky person will be glad that she wasn’t hurt badly in the accident, while the unlucky person will consider being in an accident at all a sign of his bad luck. When you find yourself in an unpleasant situation, focus on the positive aspects of the circumstances. Consider how things could have turned out worse and be glad they didn't.
Lucky people have positive expectations. When a lucky person settles down to study for an exam, he anticipates that his efforts will lead to success. When an unlucky person considers studying for the same exam, he may decide that his time would be better spent playing video games because he never has any luck when it comes to taking tests.
