I found an old photograph where I was drawing a picture. The person who took the photo was my dad, and I (the little artist) was drawing characters. Iv been drawing ever since i can remember. I loved it then i love art now. The photo was taken when i was eight years old and i asked my dad about that day because i couldn't remember what i was doing. He told me it was a project i had been working on for weeks, and that he practically had to drag me away to get me to take a break. To this day that is something that happens, if i have a project I do my best to finish it. This tells me that i can be determined as a person and that i can be creative.

(Hope this helps)

Answer:

The photograph I am reflecting on today is a photograph from May 2020. I was 16 years old at the time, and me and my dad were riding jet skies on the river by our house. It was two months into quarantine, and we just wanted to get out of the house. We were riding through a No Wake zone, where you have to go really slow so the waves do not damage docked boats, and my dad snapped a picture of me. I was smiling from ear to ear. It was a real, genuine smile. It's a little ironic because I looked so happy, but in reality, I was going through the toughest time of my mere 16 years of life. I was suicidal, extremely depressed, and barely able to get out of bed. This photograph teaches me that 1) it is extremely easy to fake a smile, and to NEVER judge a book by it's cover, and 2) that things DO get better with time.

This question is missing the excerpt. I've found the complete question online. It is the following:

Read this scene from The Miracle Worker Act 2.

HELEN in her customary unkempt state is tucking her doll in the bottom drawer as a cradle, the contents of which she  has dumped out, creating as usual a fine disorder.

How do these stage directions add meaning to the play?

The stage directions explain the historical time period.

The stage directions describe Helen's manner of speaking.

The stage directions show how characters react to Helen.

The stage directions provide characterization of Helen.

Answer:

The stage directions add meaning to the play because:

D. The stage directions provide characterization of Helen.

Explanation:

Let's work with elimination to answer this question.

The stage direction we are analyzing here does NOT offer any information concerning the historical time period when the story takes place. We do not get to know the year or century through this particular stage direction. Thus, letter A can be eliminated.

Letter B can also be eliminated since the stage direction does not establish the tone or manner of speaking for the character. We do not know if she will whisper, scream, or speak normally.

Letter C is also incorrect because the stage direction only concerns Helen. There is no information about other characters whatsoever.

Finally, letter D is the correct option. The stage direction provides a characterization of Helen. In other words, we get to know a little about her - how she usually looks and the mess she usually makes when playing.

Can you please give me a short assay about traveling abroad

Answers

Answer:

The First Time I Travel Abroad

Traveling abroad is a way that can help you gain and learn new perspectives and experiences of life. Journeys are filled with surprises and unexpected deviations which can take you on a path you may not have thought you would take. Therefore, when I think of my experience with traveling, I can’t help thinking in the quote by Danny Kaye that says: “To travel is to take a journey into yourself”.

As for me, contributing to the decision to study abroad wasn’t after I experienced traveling abroad through visiting famous places, learning about the cultures and traditions, and making relationships with the native ppl. I have never been abroad until the summer of June of 2017. My family and I went on a trip to France. We went there in a celebration of my graduation from high school. In my life, I have gone on many memorable and outstanding trips, but it was the first time that I leave my country and travel to another continent. Before the journey started, we packed up our bags a week early in order to prepare for the trip and not missing anything. I was thrilled like a small child who was going to buy a new toy. When The day finally came, I was extremely nervous about the flight because I haven’t traveled on a plane for long distance. We arrive at the airport before one hour of the flight departure because we didn’t know how long could take with the security procedure and inspections. The flight prolonged and took about 6 hours in total to fly to our destination, Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris.

First, we went to see the prominent places that many people visit. The most renowned landmark in Paris which is the Eiffel Tower. Before we went to the Eiffel Tower, we went on a bus with a tour guide that shows us the beautiful sightseeing in Paris. He was a well-informed person in a way that attracts people to listen to him about the country’s heritage which it was very interesting to me. Then, when we approach our destination, I was amazed by how spectacular and astounding of this architecture with all the details. After waiting for so long in the line, we got into the elevator in order to see the view from above. Once we got to the top of the tower, we saw the beautiful view of Paris, the city of lights, it was breathtaking and unforgettable. Also, I was so excited to visit the Arc de Triomphe which is one of the distinctive historical landmarks. This
