I would go adventure the area I'm in currently then I would go to other places like France and foreign countries that most people in their life experiences would never go in their whole life on earth. Try a bunch of different foods to see what I like and try to learn the languages of foreign countries. But in the end after all the adventuring and earning money in the foreign countries I would at some point settle and go home to my family and bring them some of the stuff I collected, Tell them all the cool stuff I did while I was there and share my life experiences with them and let them tell me how it was without me being here and how they adapted to it. Then probably go see my grandparents and tell them about it. Finally, I would go settle somewhere and try to get married, and once I do. Just relax for most of life. Watch my kids grow up, and then check on my grandparents and parents from time to time and maybe after my kids move out my house I will buy a house in the Bahamas and chill ou their cause that's one place I did not go while I was out adventuring places by myself before I came back home.

I feel uncertain about the future and I believe others feel the same.
The pandemic took a lot of time from our development as people. It basically wiped two years off of our lives. Two years where we had to stay indoors most of the time and had to face restrictions on our lives.
I therefore feel uncertain abut the way forward because:
so much time was wasted that I don't know if you go back to my life before the pandemic or just continue as is I keep wondering about what will happen when there is another pandemic and if I should even bother doing anything important if the next pandemic will just ruin things againTo conclude, I am just uncertain about where to go from here and this is a valid feeling in light of what the planet just went through.

When a speaker uses indirect characterization, his aim is to get the reader to deduce the real attributes of the characters in the book. The excerpt that uses indirect characterization from the options here is;
"She took a place near the front and began flirting her white mane, hoping to draw attention to the red ribbons it was plaited with."A close look at the other options shows the use of adjectives that directly tell us the attributes of the people being described. For example, the boxer was described as an enormous beast.
The Pig was described as majestic-looking while Benjamin was described as the oldest.
We do not find these descriptions in the third option because the author wants us to deduce the personality of the female character on our own.

I think Carine will bring fast food to International Night because her friends expect fast food every night.
Answer:
I think Carine will bring her mother's falafel to International Night because her friends are willing to try new foods.
Explanation:
As per the details given in this passage, the prediction that could best be supported would be that 'Carine will bring her mother's falafel to International Night because her friends are willing to try new foods.' This prognosis is substantiated through the descriptions like 'her mother's falafel was the pride of the family' and also through Carine recalling 'Suki's birthday party where she served spring rolls which seemed unusual yet everyone not only tasted but liked as well.' What idea does the author convey by using the phrase preferred landfill of the city to describe his neighborhood ?
Answer:
"Preferred landfill of the city" comes from line 10 and 11 of the poem "Speaking with hands"
The poem was inspired by experiences given that the author grew up in Watts.
If we backtrack a little to line 1, the author states that there are no markets in Watts then goes on to state that people bought what there was to buy in the little markets.
Since by definition, landfill refers to a dump, a place where waste items and materials are buried or deposited, then the author is trying to use imagery to define how bad and terrible Watts was as a neighbourhood in relation to other parts of the city.
In order words, it was a slum where things rejected and refused by the people in the city were dumped. [See line 24-27]

Read the following excerpt from Robert Louis Stevenson’s essay "On the Enjoyment of Unpleasant Places":
The ways of men seem always very trivial to us when we find ourselves alone on a church–top, with the blue sky and a few tall pinnacles, and see far below us the steep roofs and foreshortened buttresses, and the silent activity of the city streets; but how much more must they not have seemed so to him as he stood, not only above other men’s business, but above other men’s climate, in a golden zone like Apollo’s!
The reference to Apollo in this excerpt is a mythological allusion. In Greek mythology, Apollo is the god of the sun. He is the ruler of Mount Olympus, the home of the Greek gods—a beautiful place blessed with a perfect climate. It never rained on Mount Olympus, and there were no strong winds. It had several peaks from where Apollo and the other gods looked down upon the struggles of humans but stayed aloof.
What do you think the allusion to Apollo means in the excerpt?
Answer:
Stevenson is saying that when we take a bird’s-eye view, we see everything in a grand perspective. From there, much of what we humans do seems trivial or unimportant. We feel aloof from the rest of humanity, much as Apollo felt when he looked down on humans from atop Mount Olympus. Stevenson likens the man’s Apollo-like view to the pleasure he found in the northern Scottish landscape.
Stevenson used the allusion to Apollo to say that when we look at our experiences from a new perspective, we find unexpected pleasure and experience personal growth. He assumes his readers will be familiar with Apollo and the allusion to him will help them understand his new view of this landscape.

Explain what you think "Rez Amnesia" means?
Answer:
memory loss
Explanation:
that is what amnesia is
Based on the story, Rez Amnesia simply means that Hayley and Buckman were friends in Rez school but whenever they leave school, they usually ignored each other when they see outside.
The main reason for the above was due to the fact that Harley was from India while Buckman wasn't.
