CH2O

The disadvantages of using a graph to communicate data is data can be misrepresented, not as precise. Therefore, option A is correct.

What are the disadvantages of using a graph ?

Disadvantages of using a graph include the need for further written or verbal explanation and the ease with which they can be misrepresented.

Charts have the potential to simplify the data, which might obscure some of its more challenging features. A chart is more aesthetically pleasing and more effective at highlighting the important parts of the data, since it emphasizes those features.

The cost of human labor and resources, the process of choosing the best graphical and tabular representation of data, the complexity of the visualizing data's design, and the possibility of human bias are the usual drawbacks of graphical representation of data.

Thus, option A is correct.

A.It remains cold incorrect answer
B.It gets warmer incorrect answer
C.It starts boiling incorrect answer
D.It starts freezing incorrect answer

Answer:b it gets warmer

Explanation: from the surface of the object holding the drink then transfers through the liquid by convection. ... This causes the molecules in the food to vibrate rapidly and produce thermal energy (heat)

Option B is correct

When a cold drink sits in a hot room, it gets warmer

Convection is the transfer of heat energy as a result of molecular movement through a fluid.

When a cold drink sits in a hot room:

Heat energy is transferred from the room to the drink

The temperature of the cold drink reduces

The cold drink becomes warmer due to the heat energy received from the cold room

You and your friend live in different states and plant identical hydrangea bulbs in your garden. When they bloom, you send each other pictures. You notice that even though you bought the exact same kind of plant, your hydrangea flowers are blue and your friends are pink! On a hunch, you each measure the pH of your soil and find that your soil is a little acidic and your friends are a little basic. Why do you think the flowers have different colors?

Answers

Answer:

The acid in the soil

Explanation:

The more acid the bluer in terms of hydrangea flowers if there was a balance between the two it will be half and half of the two colors.

Answer:

Since the hydrangeas are changing color depending on whether the soil is acidic or basic, they must have an indicator. This means that any hydrangea planted in acidic soil will have blue flowers and any hydrangea planted in basic soil will have pink. One common indicator present in many plants is anthocyanin, so maybe hydrangeas contain that chemical.

Theory of Plate Tectonics
1 Earth is not like the other planets in the solar system. Earth has layers, much like an onion. These layers provide answers to many questions. Earth's crust, the outermost layer, is not entirely one piece. It is broken into sections which resemble a huge jigsaw puzzle. These giant sections are known as plates. They are always on the move, creeping along at a snail's pace. The plates seem to float on top of the mantle, the layer of Earth composed of partially melted rock.
2 Have you ever put together a puzzle? The pieces must fit together perfectly in order to form a picture. Alfred Wegener was a German scientist. Over 100 years ago, he discovered something fascinating about a map of Earth. Wegener realized that the continents seem to fit together like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. This giant piece of land was called Pangaea. It existed over 250 million years ago. Over time, Pangaea's tectonic plates slowly drifted apart. These plates in their current positions make our seven continents.
3 Earth's plates are continually being created or recycled. Scientists have studied the ocean floor. They have discovered ridges of mountains along the bottom of the ocean. These ridges form where two plates have started to move apart. Molten rock from the underlying mantle oozes out. Newly formed rock builds up in the space that has been created by the plates' movement. Plate tectonic theory has also helped scientists explain the deep ocean trenches. These deep ocean trenches are areas where plates are being recycled. This can happen where two plates push together. The crust on the edge of one plate is slowly forced under the other. The plate gets pushed back down into Earth's mantle. It will become molten rock again. This type of area is known as a subduction zone. It forms when continental land masses collide with ocean plates, or when two ocean plates collide with each other.
4 On the ocean floor, movement of the plates causes trenches and ridges. Plate movement can do more than that. It can also form mountains on land. When two continental plates push together, there is so much force that the plates buckle. Massive mountain ranges are formed. The friction during crustal movement can sometimes cause earthquakes and tsunamis.
5 The plates on Earth's crust change Earth's surface features in many ways. They had been pieced together in a giant landmass. The plates slowly moved apart to their current locations. The plates will continue to move, forming new rocks and recycling the old. Imagine how a map of Earth might look after another 250 million years of continental drift.

Answers

D iron particles within the rock..

Explanation

Iron partials are the only thing on earth that is magnetic or the core but the core does not switch direction.

Rocks become magnetic when ; ( D ) Iron particles within the rock align with Earth's magnetic field.

The magnetic components of the earth are the iron particles which are components of a rock and the Earth's core which is an in-movable part of the earth's crust.

Therefore for a rock to become magnetic its iron particles have to come in contact/ align with the magnetic field within the Earth.

Heating up the rocks will increase its' temperature and increase the possibility of producing molten magma and not making the rock magnetic.

Hence In Conclusion Rocks become magnetic when iron particles within the rock align with Earth's magnetic field.
