What did Atticus mean when he said, “You children last night made Walter Cunningham stand in my shoes for a minute. That was enough
To kill a mockingbird?
Scout assisted Walter Cunningham in seeing that Atticus was only a human, according to Atticus.
What did Atticus mean?Atticus makes an effort to instil empathy in Scout. She will get along with someone better, he claims, if she can "get inside his skin and wander about in it" (Chapter 3) Scout does well to learn this lesson. Because he is a black guy accused of raping a white lady, Atticus' client feels intimidated and decides to wait outside the jail in case anyone shows up.
When Scout and Jem notice what he is doing, they go to investigate. For Tom Robinson, Walter Cunningham and his crew do indeed arrive. But Scout approaches Walter and starts conversing with him. Jem and Scout begin to perceive their father differently as the plot develops. Jem and Scout are stunned when he shoots the uncontrollable dog. They were unaware of their father's skill with a gun.

While some parents are more interested in their own social relationships than in their children, other parents spend their evenings working or involved in time-consuming activities which keep them from spending those hours with their sons or daughters. When parents are preoccupied or away, children will seek attention elsewhere, usually in undesirable surroundings, with people who will recognize and accept them. In a situation of too much freedom and no discipline, the child gets into trouble, and parents often discover the problem too late. The lack of parental discipline and concern frequently results in severe problems for both the child and the parent.
In the paragraph above, what five details did the author give to prove his topic sentence?

Water has forms-
not a solid, liquid or a gas,
But the tears that you cry,
Or the sweat from the pain and the hard, work
And the water that we drink.
Water is more than just water.
I cry and I fill with tears
As I learn a life’s memory that is hard to take,
But I need to know that no matter what happens,
Those tears that I shed have memory;
They will remember why they fell

What's the Comparison about Life and Chocolates?, How is Life Like a "Box of Chocolates?
Answer/Explanation:
1: Chocolate is happiness that you can eat, Chocolate is a gift of love to yourself.
2: You never know what you're gonna get.
Box of chocolates represents results of our choices.
There are numerous choices that we make on daily basis, and then we live with those results.
If you take a piece of chocolate, it looks ordinary from the outside, but only when you break it (make that choice) can you see what's in it: either nothing or a delicious filling.
If you are allergic to something (let's say tree nuts), you will first examine your piece of chocolate, otherwise you can potentially get seriously hurt.
As life goes by (and as you consume more of those chocolate treats), you will find out that you can predict the contents of the choice based on the external appearance (the shape of the chocolate piece, the weight of it, any signs of damage such as filling peeking through if the coating is not even).
This also means that you're becoming more and more full (the novelty of the chocolate is wearing off), and you become more and more discriminating in what you're consuming (this is a relationship to the mortality- you can't do it all, so you do the best you can to make the most of time you have left).
In this respect, it's harder and harder to surprise you (been there, done that) and simple novelty of something is not what you'll jump at (pomegranate filling? gold inclusions? yawn), and you start listening to your inner desires (you take only what you really and truly want, you return to your actual nature), and you don't have to explain anything to anyone.
What does Malala clarify about the religion of Islam that she feels many people may not understand?
Malala admires her father's enthusiasm for giving motivational talks and derives her own enthusiasm for education from him.
Who was Malala?Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani woman who champions education and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014.
She is the youngest Nobel Prize winner ever, the second Pakistani, and the first Pashtun to do so. She received the award when she was just 17 years old.

She doesn't have or wear a lot of jewellery or garments with complex needlework, similar to her father. Malala and her father are still committed to pursuing their education despite threats from the Taliban.

After the City Council Vote ends, we leave, and we walk out of the courtroom. We go back to the little taco truck and yet again we start cooking. We were lucky to have the judge not take the taco truck away from us and now we are able to keep on cooking and make extra money. Every once in a while we will get a customer but, it's not quite just like the last time. Now it feels like it's a privilege to be able to cook and make the tacos, instead of something that we just do. Some of the customers are nice and tip extra, but even that feels even better than the last time. The days are calm and the money we earn seems to become an even larger amount per day. One day we have someone paying five dollars for a simple taco and then the next day we have someone recommending that we increase the prices because they think the tacos are good. Things really turned out well for us after the Voting.
