Mark's gospel is considered to be more focused on the actions and teachings of Jesus than on providing extensive personal details about him. However, Mark's gospel does include some personal details about Jesus that are not found in the other gospels. For example, Mark is the only gospel to mention that Jesus' family thought he was out of his mind. Mark also describes Jesus as being moved with anger and deep distress at the unbelief of those around him. This gospel also depicts Jesus as a human being who is troubled and has emotions.
