TYPE A Review On The Musical, Hamilton. Each PARAGRAPH Should Contain The Following Information Overall

Answers

Answer 1

Answer:

Hamilton is a modern musical masterpiece which had taken the world by storm. With the recent purchase of its commercial rights to Disney and it’s addition Tim the streaming platform Disney+ it has gained more interest.

One of the most memorable scenes is also probably the saddest. It takes place during the song “Stay Alive” where Phillip Hamilton the child of Alexander and Eliza is shot defending his father’s honor in a duel. This leads to him being in the hospital with extreme blood loss while his parents are pleading at the side of husband bed for him to Stay Alive sadly he doesn’t and dies in front of his parents.

If you take the original cast into sight I highly enjoyed Phillipa Soo as Eliza which is definitely one of the hardest roles vocally to perform with songs including “Burn”, “Schuyler Defeated”, “Stay Alive”, “That would be enough”, “Stay Alive (reprise)”, “Take a Break”, “The Schuyler Sisters”, “Who lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story.”, and “Helpless”. Not only Is it one of the hardest vocally it is also one of that hardest emotionally. With deaths, affairs, and war. I give major props to Phillipa Soo for being able to carry out this role so well and with grace.

The music, lighting, and costumes gave the viewer a scene of excitement or sadness. If “Hamilton” did not have music it would be boring. You wouldn’t want to watch people talking and crying for 2 hours. It shows emotion and affects the story by giving it purpose and individuality.

I would defiantly recommend this to any history buff I know. As yes it doesn’t have some theatrical elements and leaves some details out it is amazing and deserves the recognition it has.

Where did the term Dada come from, and what does it mean?

Answers

Answer:

The name for the artistic movement Dada was founded in Zurich in 1915 as a revolt against complacent art. It is drawn not from an artist or a technique but from the child’s word for a parent, dada, which in French, curiously, also means “hobbyhorse.” Whatever its origin, the name Dada is intended to be devoid of meaning.

Explanation:

The origin of the term Dada is a mystery and has no clarity where it came from as its meaning varies from one another.

Dada

Dada was an art movement that began in Europe in 1910.

It emerged during World War I with an unfavourable reaction to the war in Zurich.

Dada emerged as a rebellion developed out of social and political terms.

Dada expressed in art, poetry, music and theatre on law-making issues.

Analysis Of “John Brown Going to His Hanging” by Horace Pippin

Answers

Answer:

Because he was shot in the arm, the right one to be precise, Horace Pippin found it very difficult to paint. He was also shot in the shoulder in the 1st World War during a fight. It was almost as if his days of painting was over.

Regardless, somehow Horace Pippins pushed on. His biggest customer was Christian Brinton who had attempted raising funds for him. Another thing he did for Pippin was to advertise him as a brand so that people will take interest in seeing his artwork.

John Brown was born on May 9, 1800, in Torrington, Connecticut.

"John Brown Going to His Hanging" is the story of a man who passionately fought injustice and human oppression. He was raised by his parents to hate slavery. He was also raised on biblical principles. When he turned 50, he decided, having lived all his life helping and associating with slaves, that his prime purpose was to liberate all slaves. He organized a few people along with some of his sons and they went on killing all major pro-slavery persons. In some instances, he spared the wives and kids of those he killed.

He was arrested and indicted for taking part in fights opposing slavery. The incident that nailed him happened in October 1859. There had been an attack. The invasion took place against the Federal Arsenal at Harper's Ferry, Virginia. Brown along with some of those involved were arrested and sentenced to death. He was to be executed by hanging. John Brown's executor was the notorious Colonel - Robert E. Lee. He was the commander of the forces that arrested John.

Brown was executed on December 2, 1859, in Charles Town, Virginia.

Some people are still at a loss of whether to recognize John Brown as a martyr who gave his life trying to free the oppressed or as a manic murderer who just went crazy killing and sparing lives as he deemed fit.

It is also a source of debate about whether or not the John Brown saga, which went on to become a national spectacle ignited the war between North and South America. A war that was going to decide whether or not America should continue or not with the slave trade.
