The Great plains land was dry and barren making it difficult to grow crops. Moreover, dangerous animals, such as buffalo, roamed free.
The Plains Indians had modified their way of life in order to live in these hard conditions. Their extension based on hunting buffalo.
The great plain people utilized animal skins (deerskin) as clothing. Shelter was made from the material found around them (saplings, leaves, small branches, animal fur, big stones).
Native peoples of the cultivation, hunted, and fished. They used natural wealth such as rock, wind, bay, and cuticle to farm, hunt, and fish.
