Why do people follow the crowd?

Answers

Answer 1
People follow the crowd to fit into today’s society. Being social has become a major part of how the world functions now. Nowadays people have a mindset that makes them think that if they don’t fit in, they’re gonna be alone. But in reality you should just be yourself, people should like you for who you are not who they want you to be. Another reason why someone might want to follow the crowd is a possible belief that we’re better in numbers. Of course this goes for being safe in the physical type of world, but it also has something to do with the emotional world. Just being with someone might make you happier, no matter what you have to do to be with them. A different way to look at the situation is to think about expectations. People follow the crowd and try to fit into the world’s expectations in order to be looked upon equally. You shouldn’t need to do this. Be yourself. <3

What makes a character an unreliable narrator?

Any narrator who intentionally or unintentionally misleads readers is considered an unreliable narrator. Due to circumstances, personality flaws, or psychological issues, many people are unreliable. In some instances, a narrator will purposefully omit or misdirect important details from readers.

It can be challenging to discern the narrator's point of view when certain character traits are present. The narrator may alter the point of view as the plot develops or lead the reader to believe the character will take an alternate course, making the point of view appear elusive.

What is illiteracy ?

Illiteracy is  the inability to read or write, or the actual or perceived state of being uneducated or insufficiently educated. Social judgement is so powerfully built into the term illiterate  that scholars now generally use more neutral terms, such as non-literate  and pre-literate (for societies and conditions before literacy emerged or was encountered and adopted). Formerly, the term illiterate was used to describe someone without book learning or a liberal education even though such a person could read in a vernacular language or handle accounts and correspondence. However, the word also carried the connotation of ‘unpolished’, ‘ignorant’, or ‘inferior’, as in ‘the disadvantage of an illiterate education’

As schooling moved away from the classical languages, the term came to mean inability to sign one's name (generally on a marriage or a census document) or to read a simple passage. The term illiterate has been widely used pejoratively for usage which, though literate, has not measured up to the standards or expectations of the person commenting. Semi-literate is similarly employed: ‘an illiterate style’, ‘a semi-literate letter’.

Answers

Answer:

Its - car

This - More and more physicians are beginning to look not just for illnesses but also for patients' habits with long-term health  implications

Its - cow

Someone - no antecedent

It - antecedent not clear

Explanation:

The antecedent of a pronoun is the word or phrase whose place the pronoun takes. In some cases, the antecedent is obvious, while in others it's either missing or not clear.

In the first and third sentences, it's simple. In the first sentence, a car's transmission is mentioned. Instead of repeating the word car, we will use the pronoun it and its possessive form its. It's the same in the third sentence (cow's tail - its tail).

The second example is interesting because the antecedent of the pronoun this is the entire previous sentence.

In the fourth sentence, the antecedent is missing. We don't know instead of what word the pronoun someone is used.

In the fifth, the antecedent is not clear as the pronoun it could be used to refer to the word rain, or the word mud.

According to a different source, this question refers to the article "Herd’s Fate Lies in Preservation Clash." In this article, we learn about the extremely endangered wild horses in the Currituck National Wildlife Refuge. These horses are most likely descendants of Spanish horses that arrived roughly five centuries ago. However, they have now become wild animals that inhabit this region. Scientists want to study whether the presence of the horses is dangerous to the ecosystem. If that turns out to be the case, it is likely that the animals will not be allowed to remain in the refuge.
