if you were to design a new system for electing the president what would the system look like ? write 4-5 sentences explaining the way you would design a new system for presidential elections and the components of such a new system.

Answer 1

Answer:

...

Explanation:

Answer 2

Answer:

If i would design a new system for the presidential election I would have both the popular and electoral votes decide who becomes president. Currently in our presidential elections the electoral votes are the only ones that truly matter which only makes the running candidates go to states with a big amount of electoral votes. I would instead give every state 10 electoral votes because instead of the candidates going to the major battleground states they would go to every state. I would also average up the amount of electoral and popular votes together to create a percentage for both presidents to make sure that not only is the voice of the senate's heard, but also the voice of the people.
